This photo depicts the expansion of Hemenway Iron Works by Ray Hemenway II. Ray Hemenway ll added to the original
Iron Works. The blue buildings to include a bay for semis to load directly into the building, paint facilities, and hoists in the yard.
The schoolhouse directly to the left of the Iron Works, know as Bell Antiques, was the business Ray Hemenway III started
during retirement. The schoolhouse was the showroom, and the railroad depot directly behind the schoolhouse was the shop
for restoration of antiques. While Ray Hemenway II was building on, Ray Hemenway III was bringing in buildings of historic
preservation.
